Tishomingo County High School Students Compete on National Stage in Texas
SAN ANTONIO, Texas — Two outstanding local students are representing Tishomingo County High School (TCHS) on the national stage this week at the National Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) National Leadership Conference.

Abigail Robinson and Aubrey Brockenshire traveled to San Antonio to face off against the top business-minded students from across the country. Months of preparation, dedication, and rigorous study have culminated in this prestigious opportunity to compete at the national level.

The two Braves are competing in highly specialized categories:

Abigail Robinson is showcasing her professional communication and readiness in the Job Interview competitive event.

Aubrey Brockenshire is demonstrating her mastery of corporate governance and meeting structure in the Parliamentary Procedure event.

A Community Effort
School officials emphasized that reaching nationals is a massive achievement, noting that the journey was made possible through a strong network of local support.

The trip was sponsored in large part by the Tri-State Educational Foundation, whose continued investment helps provide local students with life-changing academic opportunities. Additionally, school representatives extended a special thank you to the dedicated bookkeeping staff at TCHS and the parent chaperones who volunteered their time to travel and support the competitors.

Iuka Middle School Students Excel at FBLA National Leadership Conference in San Antonio

IUKA, MS — July 2, 2026 — Iuka Middle School is proud to celebrate the outstanding achievements of its Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) students following their stellar participation in the FBLA National Leadership Conference held in San Antonio, Texas.

The week-long national event brought together top students from across the country to network, attend professional development workshops, and hear from inspiring guest speakers. Iuka Middle School's qualifying students represented their community on the national stage with exceptional dedication.

Among the high-achieving competitors, Rhett earned an impressive 8th place finish in the NATION for the Spreadsheet Application competitive event.

The full roster of Iuka Middle School national competitors includes:

FBLA is open to students in grades 7 through 12, making it a perfect opportunity for middle schoolers to get a head start. Local advisors encourage parents to get their students involved for the upcoming school year. The organization offers students a fun, engaging environment to build their resumes for college and future careers, unlock exclusive scholarship opportunities, and develop vital soft skills that modern employers look for.

With the new school year approaching, Iuka Middle School students are invited to join FBLA, get involved, and potentially become the next National Champion.
