  • Burnsville Students Selected for UNA Honor Band

    In early March 2021, hundreds of students across most of North/Central Alabama and a few parts of Mississippi applied to the University of North Alabama Invitational Honor Band. Students sent in applications that listed their years of experience and as well as comments from their band directors as to their abilities and character. From those applications, only 80 students were chosen to participate in the Honor band.

  • Jim Riley and Brady Bobjak at TCHS were nominated as 2021 Presidential Scholars

    Jim Riley (left) and Brady Bobjak (left), graduating seniors at TCHS, have been named one of the more than 4,500 candidates in the 2021 U.S. Presidential Scholars Program. The candidiates were selected from nearly 3.6 million students expected to graduate from U.S high schools in the year 2021.
