  • TCSD Free Meals Announcement

The Tishomingo County School District is pleased to announce that it will continue providing free meals (breakfast and lunch) to all students, regardless of their previous cafeteria status – Free, Reduced, or Paid – for the remainder of the 2020-2021 school year. This has been made possible through funding from the USDA and will continue all school year. The district’s Food Service Program will continue to process free/reduced lunch applications. If families have not already completed an application, it is highly recommended they do so. This can be done online, or an application can be sent home with a student if requested. The district is excited about the opportunity to feed our children healthy meals each day for FREE! Please call Amy B. Cornelius, Child Nutrition Director, if you have any questions at 662-423-3206. The TCSD is an equal opportunity provider.

  • Winter Sport Restrictions

The Tishomingo County School District and its schools are preparing for their winter sports seasons. Student athletes are working hard to prepare for successful seasons and are looking forward to competing against other schools. Under Governor Tate Reeves Executive Order, gymnasiums can only have 25% capacity at this time. Each school has calculated that number and will be issuing vouchers to its students and opponents for entrance into games. Due to this limitation, no district passes will be sold at this time for entry. The only passes allowed for entrance are MHSAA state passes. Masks must be worn for entry and should be worn when not seated in the stands. Seats will be marked for social distancing. Also, each school has
different capacity limits. If community members are interested in the process for entry for a particular school, they should contact the school for information. The district will be live streaming events in partnership with Jack Ivy Productions as well as the district’s own live streaming service, TCSD Live. Mr. Ivy will be broadcasting on his Facebook page for high school events. Events on TCSD Live will be available on the district’s website.
